Photojournalist Gervasio Sánchez (b. Córdoba, 1959) documents the drama of forced disappearances, presented in this show as a graphic record of horror and an enduring denouncement of injustice. Sánchez researches and documents the process from the arrest to the moment remains are returned to family members, a fate suffered by thousands of people in locations across the globe, from Colombia, Chile, Guatemala, Argentina, Peru and El Salvador to Cambodia, Iraq, Bosnia-Herzegovina and even Spain. Yet in every place the violence, tragedy, pain, loss and suffering are the same.
