In 2009, the annual Municipal Art Acquisitions exhibition is to be held on location at the RAI during Art Amsterdam. It will be devoted to photography. Guest curator is photographer and publicist Hans Aarsman. He will devise a theme for the show and a call will go out for artists to submit entries relevant to it. The works to be acquired will be selected by the Stedelijk Museum during the art fair.
