One wall. Six artists. One river. Many worlds.
Suad Abd Al Rasul, Jaume Munoz, Amado Al Fadni, Zamzami, Mudathir Ibrahim and Adam Hinawi are six young artists who are as different as six people could possibly be. The desire to challenge their differences is the one thing that brings them together. A wall on the Nile is the place where they’ll meet. Their imagination and sense of unity alone will guide them towards finding a harmony in combining their different stories in one complete piece.
Suad Abd Al Rasul is an Egyptian born and holds an MA degree in philosophy and language history. She has exhibited her art works both in Egypt and abroad.
Jaume Munoz was born in Barcelona (Spain), studied literature, works as a translator and has published few books of illustrated poetry and short stories. He began painting in Cairo after joining the Sawa workshops, organized by the Townhouse Gallery.
Amado Al Fadni is a Sudanese artist who has exhibited at the Townhouse Gallery, AUC and Cairo Atelier.
Zamzami is an Egyptian artist with a degree from the Fine Arts School, Mania University.
Mudathir Ibrahim is a Sudanese artist who has taken part in a group exhibition at the Townhouse Gallery.
All six artists have participated in the Sawa Workshop.
